Minor corrections to information published in various places by NRH City Officials that may be intended to mislead citizens of NRH.

    Date:  4/19/05 - Item:  Letter to the editor - Fort Worth Star Telegram - from Mayor Oscar Trevino:   The last sentence is incorrect:  " The Texas Department of Transportation expects to begin widening the Loop 820 in 2007, which gives the city plenty of time to finalized its plans before the current library must be vacated."

Truth is that there is NO requirement for the library to ever be vacated associated with the Loop 820 expansion.  The expansion when complete, will only take parking spaces off the highway side leaving nearly 500 remaining parking spaces.  The closing, razing and moving of this library is a voluntary decision exclusively by our city council.
