Government by and for Citizens

Communications to our elected and paid city officials is the only way we have of making our wishes to them known.  The more we know what they are doing, the more involved we may or may not want to become.  NRHONLINE.COM is attempting to publish information that may have direct impact on each of us as citizens.  The more people who check out our information, the more opportunity we have to send messages to our officials both pro and con on the issues raised.

Occasionally, an issue is of a time critical nature that warrants a need for immediate action on the part of the citizens if it is to be delayed, stopped or enhanced.  For this type of issue to be known, we have created a private E-Mailing List that we send very brief notices of new information on this site.  Each such message is and will continue to be about 10 lines total. 

This is an elective list that is not sold nor shared with anyone.  If you would like to be notified when the city is doing something that could impact you, just click on the link below and indicate in the subject line or body of the email - add me!  In like manner if you want off our list, click below with - remove me (or something similar). 

For this to really be meaningful, we need to build this list to a much larger number than it currently has.  We would truly appreciate your telling others about this site.  We know that our issues are often controversial but that just invites other positions to be made known.  We stand ready to print opposing view points that are sent to us.  Information is an empowering tool for each citizen and we respect your opinion whether it agrees with us or not. 

We are dedicated to open government in North Richland Hills, Texas.  Help us achieve good, responsive government for our City by participating.  Take a moment to send us an email so we may send you a very brief and infrequent notice of changes on this website.  The notifications are sent only when important or urgent information is added to the site.  Changes to the site occur daily.
