An Open Letter to Councilperson JoAnn Johnson - 5/2/05

NRH Councilwoman JoAnn Johnson,

I have observed you many times at various NRH city council meetings. I believed you had the aptitude, desire & willingness to succeed
as a sitting council member. I think I am man enough to admit I have made a gross mistake in judgment & I apologize to you & others for that.

Now to your letter. Nancy Bielik is my hero. She has been the new fox in an old, old chicken house & the feathers are flying. Why? Could it
be because she was elected at large which translates to representing all the citizens & not just a few as has been apparent in your case & the
incumbents currently seeking office.

You have attacked Nancy Bielik in a malignant, vicious & malicious manner which is obviously indicative of your character. If only, yes if only,
we had several more like Nancy that digs, digs & digs some more to seek out & search for the miscues of extraordinary, flagrant expenditures,
oversights, etc. then perhaps our city property tax rates could be lowered.

I challenge you for proof that anyone in the North Richland Hills Citizens Group wants to "remove city staff". This is just another one of your
slanderous, blatant & flagrant fabrications.

I challenge you for proof that anyone in the North Richland Hills Citizens Group wants to turn NRH into another Bedford. This is just another
one of your slanderous, blatant & flagrant fabrications.

Incidentally, so you may be correctly informed the Bedford voters did not vote to close the Bedford library and parks. If you would only pay
attention. It was the Bedford city council that voted to close the library & parks. Once again so you will get it straight. It was the Bedford city
council that voted to close the library & parks. This is just another one of your slanderous, blatant & flagrant fabrications. Please pay attention.
Thank you.

Since when has a person's political affiliation been highlighted in any local election. Never to my knowledge. If you check the NRH city charter
you may find you are in error in mentioning the word "Libertarian Party" or any political party regarding a local election. I don't know of anyone
that is a registered Libertarian. Do you?

You are invited to join the North Richland Hills Citizens Group. Then you can learn that we "little" people understand what we are voting for &
that we are not political terrorists. We also are cognizance of what being elected at large means. Our annual dues are very small & I will pay your
1st years dues. What say you?

I trust the readers of your mail out can see thru your slanderous, blatant, & flagrant fabrications. Perhaps a visit with your pastor is in order.
What do you think?

I am borrowing one of Mr. Ken Sapps' quotes. The above is just my opinion.
