Watch for an announcement regarding two new businesses coming to NRH.  North Hills Mall to be razed and replaced with these new companies plus additional new construction on this site.  Announcement will probably be politically timed since the deal is supposedly already done. This will be good for NRH!

It's now fact:  City is moving towards development of

Citywalk at Calloway Creek (Old North Hills Mall)

Two major unnamed anchors. 

Old mall to be demolished - tax incentives to encourage development.

City to spend $3,000,000 in infrastructure on public property portions.

North Hills Hospital to construct two new office buildings costing $30 Million!

Hike & Bike Trails to be incorporated along with very nice fountain area if developed as presented.

Good move for NRH!

A rumor has been reported that the existing council may plan to revisit the RV Parking Ordinances after the May elections.  Apparently, they still want to run all RV's out of town.  If they maintain the current majority, watch out for noxious new requirements for all those registered RV's.  The majority on the council still thinks they are ugly and they got by with the 9 1/2 foot requirement as a safety issue.

As of 9/27/05 this subject has not come up in council discussions of record.  This may be due to the fact that the rumor was made public and they are now waiting for a better time to use their heavy hands.
