DETRACTOR RIPS COUNCILMAN BIELIK BY EMAIL: WARNS OF 'IRREPARABLE HARM' TO CITY OF NRH

 This morning, a scathing email was sent to Councilman Nancy Bielik regarding comments that he/she made at the NRH City Council meeting Monday night, September 13.  The email blasts Councilman Bielik and his/her "radical" attempts to dismantle the "central pillars of progress our city achieved during the 20th century."

The author says she has become convinced that Bielik wants "to undo the progress," (that) Trevino-era policies were built upon and that ushered in the social beautification that we now enjoy as well as a host of other benefits that cannot be identified.

She said that Bielik, who campaigned as a “co-conspirator" of “political terrorist leader” Ron West in 2004, had taken a "hard-right turn to pursue an extremist agenda" after moving into the Council chambers.  “Bielik even sits on the right-side of the dais for crying out loud!,” asserts the author.

"I don't know where it came from, but the fact is that this Councilman has not only been radical and extreme in terms of his/her associations with voters but in terms of the questions that he/she asks of city leadership.”

She believes Bielik is "making NRH less fair, smart and beautiful than it deserves to be in a world filled with too many ugly RVs."

"We have to change direction before irreparable harm is done," she adds.

"This city’s management is in danger of being one of the first in the city’s history to have to answer to voters.  We simply cannot allow that to happen."
